The active ingredient in MicroFresh® is formulated to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi and algae.
MicroFresh®  is formulated using nano-technology and a natural antimicrobial which has been used for centuries for its abilities to aid in preservation.
The active ingredient in MicroFresh® is one of the most effective antimicrobial additives available, reducing growth by up to 99.9% of bacteria within 24 hours.  The technology is currently used throughout the NHS and the healthcare sector to eradicate and prevent further spread of the super bug MRSA.

MicroFresh® is certified DMF (Dimethyl Fumarate) free and is also VOC and solvent free.  It can, therefore, be applied to products and surfaces which will be in direct contact with human skin.

When applied to products and surfaces, the active concentration of MicroFresh®  causes the functions of bacteria to break down, resulting in the prevention of bacterial growth.  The active ingredient combats microbes in three ways; disrupts cell metabolism, inhibits respiration and inhibits cell division (reproduction).   This 'tri-modal' action makes it effective against even the most resistant of bacterial strains.

Extensive testing has been carried out on a wide range of bacteria, including Salmonella and E-coli and mould such as Aspergillus Niger (Black Mould).
